SHERLOCK HOLMES

Sherlock Holmes is here to stay.  The fictional character created in the late 1800's by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is still popular today.  He has been reinvented as a modern-day character in the television series "Elementary" and in the PBS series "Sherlock."  There are many authors who use Sherlock as a character in their books.

Right now at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Library we have a display of Sherlock books, books on CD, and DVDs.  Come in and see what the library has to offer.

Laurie King writes an intriguing mystery series with Sherlock Holmes and Mary Russell, Sherlock's American feminist wife. Together they solve mysteries.

Here are some other things you might enjoy.

Sherlock Holmes [DVD] : a game of shadows
Death on a pale horse : Sherlock Holmes on Her Majesty's Secret Service / Donald Thomas.

Sherlock Holmes : the unauthorized biography by Nick Rennison

Come see all of the other books and movies featuring the famous Sherlock Holmes!
