PUT A LITTLE LOVE IN YOUR LIFE
It's time for candy and flowers tomorrow.
How about some romance novels to put you in the mood for Valentine's Day?
How about some romance novels to put you in the mood for Valentine's Day?
Lady Ravenna Walsingham is a seasoned spy who is sent to the savage Highlands to uncover a nefarious plot against the Crown. Playing the part of an English governess, she infiltrates the home of Laird Sutherland, a suspected conspirator. Ravenna soon discovers that the only real threat Sutherland poses is to her heart. But will the proud Highland laird ever forgive her when he discovers the woman he loves in an English spy?
At first his buddies laugh at him for reading romance novels, but soon they, too, realize that these stories are the world's best textbooks on love.
Find many more Romance Novels in our collection. Some other popular romance novel authors are Norah Roberts, Sophie Kinsella, Jane Green, Robyn Carr, Jill Marie Landis, Marie Force, Mary Balogh, Georgette Heyer, Lori Wilde and Beverly Lewis.
Thanks for reading and Happy Valentine's Day!

NEED A TUTOR?
Mt. Pleasant Regional Library has become a gathering place for students and their tutors in the afternoons. Sometimes we run out of space.
If you need a tutor, we cannot recommend one, but we do have a file with business cards for tutors. Ask at the reference desk to see the "tutor" file.
They tutor a variety of subjects such as Math and Reading. Most of them have a specialty.
We also have books that can help students.
Stop by the reference desk if you have questions.
We are having a program to help parents and students find out about the new SAT. No reservations needed. We hope to see you Wednesday, February 24, at 6:30.

IT'S TAX TIME
Need help with your taxes? They seem to get more complicated every year, don't they?
The AARP will prepare and e-file your taxes. It cannot be anything complicated, and they don't do businesses.
Beginning February 5, they will be here at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Library most Mondays and Fridays from 1:00- 5:00 in the auditorium. It is first come-first served. There will be a sign-up sheet on the auditorium door at 10:00 a.m. on the days they come. Senior citizens receive priority.
What's the charge? It's free, and the tax preparers are trained volunteers.
Able to prepare your own taxes? The IRS sends the library some basic tax forms. For tax forms we don't have, we can print them for 10 cents a page, or you can use our computers to print them.
We also have J. K Lasser's "Your Income Tax" book at the reference desk if you have questions. Staff are not allowed to answer tax questions. So, please don't ask which tax form you need!
For the AARP to prepare your taxes you will need your social security card, picture I.D and last year's return for each person filing.
Please call us at 843-849-6161 for more information.
