AUGUST CALENDAR

Summer Reading Programs are over, but there's plenty to do at the library in August.  Come in and cool off from the heat with a cool book, movie or book on CD!

We here at Mt. Pleasant are very proud of this letter to the editor that was in the Post and Courier.  We appreciate our customers and are happy that our customers enjoy coming here.

Customer service is alive and well at the Mount Pleasant branch of the Charleston County Library. I am a retired citizen who uses the Mount Pleasant library about three times a week.

I check out books, movies, and eBooks. The staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly. The amazing thing is this is a government agency, yet the level of service surpasses many for-profit businesses. Someone there (actually everyone) is really doing it right.

VOTER REGISTRATION

It will soon be time for Election Day.  If you are not registered or you need to change your address, we have the forms at the library.  Also we're having Voter Registration Drives.  Remember it's our right and obligation to vote.

Independence Day Closing

Charleston County Public Library will close Monday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. 

Book drops will be unavailable while the branches are closed so that our staff can spend time with their families. Please do not leave items outside a book drop. Any unsecured items left are the responsibility of the patron.

 

We will reopen at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5.
