MAH JONGG

Are you interested in learning a new game?  On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays we meet in the auditorium for the challenging game of American Mah Jongg.  Some of the group are experienced players, while others are beginners, and the rest are in between. 

We meet from 2-4 p.m. and usually have time for 3 or 4 games.  Please join us.  If you have questions, please contact Susan McSwain at 843-849-6161.

PRESIDENTS DAY

Presidents Day Closing Charleston County Public Library will close Monday, February 15 in observance of the Presidents Day holiday. Book drops will be unavailable while the branches are closed so that our staff can spend time with their families. Please do not leave items outside the book drop. NEED A TUTOR?

Mt. Pleasant Regional Library has become a gathering place for students and their tutors in the afternoons.  Sometimes we run out of space.

If you need a tutor, we cannot recommend one, but we do have a file with business cards for tutors.  Ask at the reference desk to see the "tutor" file. 

They tutor a variety of subjects such as Math and Reading.  Most of them have a specialty.

We also have books that can help students.

Stop by the reference desk if you have questions.

We are having a program to help parents and students find out about the new SAT.  No reservations needed.  We hope to see you Wednesday, February 24, at 6:30.
