Every year residents of the Charleston area look forward to "That Big Book Sale." Mt. Pleasant residents are fortunate that the book sale is held in Mt. Pleasant. So make some time this weekend to go to the Omar Shrine Auditorium and get great deals on books, DVDs and books on CD.

Omar Shrine Auditorium, 176 Patriots Point Road
Browse more than 60,000 fiction, non-fiction and children's books plus DVDs, CDs, maps and more with prices starting at 50 cents. A rare book auction will take place Thursday through Saturday, and items are half price on Sunday. Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted.

Thursday, October 9 from 5 - 8 p.m.You’re invited to join the Friends of the Library for an exclusive member event for That BIG Book Sale with live entertainment and a cash bar. Free entry is awarded to FOL Members, and new members are welcome to join at the door. Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted. No RSVP necessary.
