Are you a caregiver for someone? It has become a growing concern for many people these days. Some people become the sandwich generation- caring for children or grandchildren and their parents.
When elderly parents reach the point of needing extra help and care, it usually falls on their children to step in. The cost of retirement or assisted living is often out of reach for many people, so parents often move in with one of their children.
Caregiving is one of the most difficult and stressful jobs that any of us will ever have. Often caregivers become ill themselves.
If you are a caregiver or expect to become one someday, please join us on the 4th Monday of each month. The programs are in connection with Carolina Hospice Care. Learn caregiving tips, get advice and support. Come meet others who are in your same situation and share your experiences.
Please call 843-849-6161 for more information.
