Programs will take place twice a month from June through August at the Main Library.

Does your business provide innovative and interactive activities to the local community? MAHJONG

Do you like to play games?  Games offer an opportunity for people to get together and socialize.  They are also a way to exercise our brains, which may improve cognitive function.
Mahjong is one of these games. Would you like to learn to play?

It's a Chinese game using tiles that are stacked and then matched- a game of strategy, intelligence and skill, and it's also fun.  It's a game for four players, but can be played with three if there aren't four available.

There will be an orientation meeting Wednesday, April 8th at 2:00 at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Library.  The game will be explained, and we'll see how many people are interested in meeting to play Mahjong on a regular basis.
