WHAT'S ON THE LITTLE RED CART?

Have you ever noticed the little red cart near the copier?  These are paperbacks that don't have to be checked out.
Where do all of these paperbacks come from?  They are donated by our generous patrons.  Each month we put out between 800 and 1100 paperbacks for your enjoyment.  They are great to take on vacation or to the beach.  There's no worry about overdue fines or getting sand on a book, and you may keep them as long as you wish.  The only thing we ask is that you bring in another one at your leisure.
If you're donating paperbacks or replacing any, please turn them in to the front desk.  That way we can make sure they are marked with the Mt. Pleasant stamp and count them.
What type of books will you find on our little red cart?  We try to put out a variety of books, but we are limited by what is donated.  You will find everything from Harlequin romances to literary classics.  Most books will be fiction, because there are more fiction paperbacks than non-fiction.  When we receive interesting non-fiction paperbacks, we do put them on the cart. If there's a title not on our shelves, be sure to check the cart.  It just may be there.
Obviously our patrons enjoy browsing this cart since we put out so many every month.  If you haven't tried our little red cart, please stop by.

Thanks for reading!
