CURL UP WITH A GOOD BOOK ON A RAINY DAY

When it's too hot or too rainy to be outdoors, why not curl up with a good book?  We have new books arriving everyday at the Mt. Pleasant Library.  Come in our browse our new book shelf for a thrilling spy novel, a cozy mystery, or a good biography.  Here are some of our latest arrivals:

Eva's Eye by Karin Fossum
This is the first Inspector Sejer mystery by Scandinavian writer Karin Fossum.  Sejer must determine if the cases of a dead prostitute and a man found floating in icy water by Eva Magnus are related. If you haven't read any of the very popular Scandinavian mysteries, Eva's Eye would be a good one to try.

Sparta by Roxana Robinson
Conrad Farrell returns from the Iraqi War to find that his life is not what it used to be.  This novel explores the difficulties that returning soldiers face.

Alien Hunter: a Flynn Carroll Thriller by Whitley Strieber
Flynn Carroll is a police detective whose wife disappears.  Desperate to find her, he begins to find similar cases.  Is someone or something from another world kidnapping humans?

Come in and browse and take home a new book!  We'll be glad to help you at the Reference Desk to find a good book to curl up with.
