*FOL members are invited to preview book sales on Thursday before the sales open to the public on Friday.*

At Friends sales, you will find books, DVDs, and CDs, with prices starting at just $1 for paperbacks and $3 for hardback books. Items include mysteries, romances, classics, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks and more. Children’s books start at just $0.50!

BOOK SALE AT MT. PLEASANT

Pop up $1 Friends of the Library Book Sales The Friends of the Library are hosting Pop Up sales that will feature a sample of the Friends’ favorite books at the unbeatable price of $1. Purchases at these Pop Up sales go towards raising funds on behalf of the CCPL system. The first round of sales will take place on the following dates:    •    Wednesday, April 6 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Dorchester Road Library •    Wednesday, April 6 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Library •    Friday, April 8 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the James Island Library •    Friday, April 8 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the McClellanville Library •    Monday, April 18 from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Poe/Sullivan's Island Library •    Monday, April 18 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. at West Ashley Library •    Wednesday, April 20 from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Hurd/St. Andrews Library •    Wednesday, April 20 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. at John's Island Library •    Friday, April 22 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Otranto Road Library •    Monday, April 25 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Cooper River Memorial Library

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK SALE

Today the Friends of the Library Book Sale is going on until 4:00 in the auditorium.  Come find some great bargains.  They have children's books, DVD's, books on CD, and adult books.

It's a great time to find Christmas gifts for the book lover in your life. Yesterday I bought children's books for $55.  When I got home I added up what the retail cost would have been.  It would have cost me over $300.!  Also, please join the Friends of the Library.  They do a lot to support our library system.
