Dreaming in Turtle by Peter Laufer - Review | BookPage: BookPage Top Pick in Nonfiction, December 2018 Most people only know a few basic facts about turtles: They are slow-moving, egg-laying, cold-blooded reptiles. Unmarriageable by Soniah Kamal - Review | BookPage: If marriage is the prize, you’d better be skilled in the art of “grabbing it,” it being an eligible bachelor. In her Pride and Prejudice adaptation, Soniah Kamal transports Jane Austen’s narrative to early-2000s Pakistan, imbuing the often-reimagined story with a fresh lexicon.

Help! I Need Reading Recommendations!
In search of reading recommendations?
At the Mount Pleasant Regional Library we have numerous ways to help you find something to read.
We have a staff picks display that is frequently updated by our staff members with books, movies, and television shows the staff have enjoyed. The items are as diverse as our staff, currently we have mystery books, reality TV shows, poetry, and fantasy classics. The display is always changing so come on by and take a peak.
On our website www.ccpl.org, we have a reader's advisory page under the "Use Your Library" header. Learn more about book clubs, book lists and suggestions, and lastly reader's advisory. Click reader's advisory gives three options: Novelist (a database full of read-a-likes), Next Reads (a way to sign up for genre specific newsletters from the library), and KDL's What's Next database (a simple listing of books in different series).
Also our great librarians who are only ever a trip to the library or phone call away, (843) 849-6161, press 2 for reference. We're always more than happy to help you with reading recommendations.
